I managed to get my Elvanse this week

For people in the UK. I managed to get my 70mg this week, and was informed that 50mg and 20mg are coming back in stock.

It's worth checking and asking around. They also informed me that the script has to either say 'Adult' or Lisdexamfetamine for them to be able to dispense it.

Well done! I managed to get some this week from the gp when they "found" a bottle in the cupboard. Lots of people have been struggling so hopefully this is good news. I have yet to hear a credible story as to why there was such a shortage though.

There are many reasons floating about. On the news it was because of Brexit, complications importing it. The rate of diagnosed people has exploded so they couldnt keep up with production. The premises they were in wouldnt allow them to license the drug, so had to move premises. Their license had expired and had to renew it..... One of them's true I suppose and/or a mixture of all 🙆‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Yeah, drinking alcohol in the evenings has a misunderstanding for Elvanse. Even though you may relax and sleep, alcohol is still in your system in the morning. It's like vitamin c doesnt help the Elvanse, so the understanding to eat vitamin C only in the evening will still have the same effect on the elvanse because it's not quite out of your system in the morning. Understand?
