My research over the last month had led me to learning about codependency. This morning I watched the video below and was crushed by how much it fits me and my wife. It is almost like the perfect storm, My ADHD + My Addiction issues + My Childhood Abandonment issues+ My Wife who also shares some codependency traits = my brain is going crazy. I really just wanted to share because it does help to type it out.
Me, codependent? Me, insecure about.... anything/everything? No way! The answer of course is----Yes to both and more.
The presenter of the above YouTube has another video on Healing the Wounded Inner Child. I haven't watch her Video on Healing the Wounded Inner Child, but the idea has been around since the 80's. I believe there is something to this as well. Just an FYI.
