I am an older guy diagnosed 9 months ago. my inability to focus all my life has caused me many problems; my mind just flies off on evrything it sees or thinks about. But about a month ago I discovered a tool that has helped me a lot. And I mean A LOT. FocusMate is just a way to commit to a project with someone else somewhere in the world who is committing to their project. You just schedule a time slot of 25 or 50 minutes, show up and be matched with someone else. No chit chat, just "Hi, I will be working on ...and hope to do 2 chapters", then they say their project, then you mute microphones, and get busy. Knowing that they are working helps me keep focused I've been more productive in making and editing audiobook chapters than ever before simply by committing verbally to 50 minutes of work
Just wanted to pass that on for those who might be interested

I can attest to this. I have been for many years on 3 Facebook groups that do exactly that. Someone calls a "game" maybe 6x15. Then whoever wants to "play" writes a numbered list of 6 chores (or whatever they want to do in 15 minute increments). The caller chooses a number every 15 minutes and off we go to do whatever that chore is on our list. Some games are 6x10,5x20, or one of my favorite is mega dash. Caller calls out a different room every 15 minutes and you do whatever is on your list for that room. Makes it fun or at least less boring and I get so much more done. These are private so if you want to join, put in a request. It is unfortunately for women only. Sorry guys
