I am feeling like even though the ADA is in place and people know about it, I am still being discriminated against because this one really affects how we interact with people and can get a job done or not!!! Does anyone else feel that way?
My second question is that if I am able to get the official diagnosis and can then apply for Disability, is there an income threshhold that I will have to stay under in order to continue receiving benefits?
Thank you so much in advance to the community.

Unfortunately, most people do not understand what ADD is and it usual for us to be discriminated against because we are different from those who don't have it. An official diagnosis does not guarantee disability income, but you must go to Social security and ask them as things are always changing. Understanding what your diagnosis means is a good way too understand why you are the way you are.
Yes, you apply asap. Plan on a second and third application before they accept you. get a lawyer that helps with this - they don't cost much and you need one. After you get disability you will have a limit on income that is correct.
