I uploaded a video on my ADHD Youtube channel where I go over 5 of the most common maladaptive mindsets, that I have noticed while working with people who have ADHD. For a lot of us with ADHD, life has been quite difficult, and we have certainly had our fair share of failures, betrayals, disappointments, and rejections just to name a few. Once we discover and start working on our ADHD, it is quite helpful and important to start working on refining and improving maladaptive mindsets and behaviors. I hope this video brings you some guidance and insight.
Youtube username- "wilhelm the esoteric", and the video is titled "ADHD Maladaptive Mindsets and Behaviors", incase you're interested (Links are also in my bio on here). Hope this helps.

Thank you very much. I needed to hear this, for me timely. Feeling very lost. After much persistence I achieved my masters yet it means nothing. I am trying to emerge from a breakdown. After many years of tolerating others' bad behaviours, I ran out of energy. I ran out of my life as I had known it. Now to rebuild and reroute is daunting, as I am still very insecure.. late diagnosis at 48 years old of ADHD ring of fire inattentative type, aspergers and cpstd. At 50 a complete mental and physical breakdown after both a personal loss and at the same time I was bullied out of a long teaching career. Hiding from the world thinking I am washed up and a has been... need to find my resilience and find my value. I would wish others like, me learn early to manage and to advocated for thy self and don't let yourself get anywhere near to the point of mental breakdown - Thanks Wilhelm The Estoric you have lots of great advice👍
