Why do we seek a, or the thrill ? Why do I search for a intimate conversation who has a partner as well. Why do I want to someone who has my problem? Do we all have a addiction, with those adhd issue?

Hi there st47

The reason why you are seeking thrill is because that’s what stimulates the adhd brain I’m afraid.

If as do you take adhd meds this slows your brain down to a conservative pace where you can then think process and speak at an appropriate level to the rest of man kind.

Your most probably wanting intimate chat as you want to see how far you can cross that line and get away with it.

But like having a relationship with a married women.its not the sex part that’s the thrill seeking.

It’s the will I get caught.its called living on the edge fly to close to the wind.this excites your brain and stimulates it to a much higher level than the average bod.

I totally get where your coming from and Christ did I get a buzz of living of the edge.

Problem is that it then gets your fight and flight responses up to a level where your adrenaline will start racing(damn site higher than the normal person)

The problem arises in that the paranoid fight and flight starts to kick in.

You then start to be all over the place.the buzz comes crashing down and then your a total mess and have destroyed what you were aiming for in the first place

I’m sure you understand what I’m speaking about.

Have a think about what I’ve read.

Then sit down quietly and have a think about all the times you’ve gone thrill seeking and try remember how it ended.

I used to push my self the max and beyond.my adrenaline would be so far over the top with my heart jumping or wanting to jump out of my ribs and I would end up 30 mins later on my own totally destroyed what I had and being in that moment and it be a complete mist as to what happened.
