Higher Dose has less side effects?!

Why does a low milligram dose of Ritalin. .05 give me shakes and cold sweats while the higher dose, 10 milligrams does not? it still hasn't helped my focus or concentration so I will be discussing a higher dose

I take 80mg daily. Side effects wore off quickly.

It's been my experience that doctors start you off slowly with lowest dosage possible. As long as you tell them your own experiences and that it's not working, they will up dosage.

It takes time for the body and mind to adjust to any new medication. Some of us take only 15 mg, but others are up to 55 or 60mg. Your physiology is unique as is your reaction, so it's not a "sure thing" until you hit that correct amount, and then it's much better.

Hope this helps you out. Make sure you're exercizing and eating, plus taking vitamins etc to get the most out of your lifestyle change.
