Hello Everyone!

I've never really been apart of an online community before, especially one that emphasizes something I typically keep to myself, but I am excited to learn more about my ADHD and ways to manage it. I have only ever used medication off and on over the years, and assumed that was all to managing my symptoms. However, recently I have been introduced to the many symptoms that follow ADHD that aren't talked about as much (emotional dysregulation, social development etc.), and it has made me realize how much I have been neglecting myself. I am hoping that by connecting with others, I might gain a better understanding of my own ADHD as well as better ways to manage the symptoms. Thanks for reading!

You are in the right place. Welcome! Find one or many physical activities you enjoy and do them regularly. Learn some method of meditation or breathing. Try to identify your own feelings, rather than sponging up everyone else's mood. Be patient, self-compassionate, and learn the fine art of the apology. Oh and it's a marathon, not a sprint. Peace!
