Welcome to the group. I'm not based in Virginia, but do know about some resources that you can check out:
Psychology Today has a list of ADHD psychiatrists in VA (and other states) link below:

Also, ask for a referral from your General Practitioner- they can help you get in faster sometimes too.

Just check psychology they all handle mental health ADHD is under mental health and state psychology centers and check to see which ones are covered under your insurance
