have obtained food stamps am on psyc disability and trying to find a job and obtain financial assistance from various
organizations. The saving grace that because I’m on medical, I have
a shrink, OT and MSW. Everyday combined with COVID can be a challenge but I dig deep inside and try to use my

I did think you spilled the beans...or guts.. earlier.. But officially, welcome again to the group.
Sounds like it's sure a rough time for you. But not to sound like a Polly-Ana, these things will hopefully be temporary. Our life circumstances do NOT define us.
I've recently been through a workers comp thing; ended up having surgery on both hands..carpal tunnel NOT fun... Did rehab... and of course no job to come back to.... Luckily, after around 2 years of that bs, finally got settlement.. Not of course for rest of life or even close to what not being able to use hands properly should cost, but we are talking here about insurance companies..major UGH!
So, I am in process of re-inventing my life..self. Going with positive attitude.. sort of like ganas.. to get sh** done! I need a better life, so that's why I've adopted the get at least 1 thing done a day, along with meditation and workouts (both of which help tremendously)
OK, enough ranting.. I totally sympathize with you Shnookie, and hope that you keep your spirits up. Best wishes on this awesome journey of life.
Thank U for your supportive e-mail So sorry about the W/C issue and how it has impacted your life. I was an insurance defense paralegal for over 5 years so I am well aware of the various aspects of W/C disability. I've been learning about cognitive therapy techniques, which have been helping me greatly. It certainly is a challenging time we are living in. However I am very happy that I have joined this group to get support. I wish U good luck on your journey
