Hello, Laurab3604~

Welcome to the group! And yes, ADHD meds are stimulants, so they do generally give more focus and energy.

Wow, the whole house AND van?? That's a LOT of cleaning. Sounds like you are really catching up with stuff in your life!!

I take Focalin at 20mg for about 1 month now, and it's given me more energy, calm more focused mind, and ability to multi task a lot better. So, I am really happy to finally have gotten an ADHD diagnosis (just last year) and medication.

Note, I do also take vitamin B12- because of my autoimmune issues, which also helps me with a quicker metabolism and energy.

If you're interested in researching Adderall further, you could check out mayoclinic.org and just type adderall and see the various articles etc... that are available.

Hope this helps you! Best wishes on your journey.

Hmmm.. I was dizzy after upping my dosage from 10mg to 20mg for about the first week. I also experienced headaches and then after a week and half, both stopped. I also started taking it with breakfast so maybe that helped as well.

Medications do interact with others too. I would call your doctors nurse and ask them about a y side effects of these 2 medications. Also go to webmd.com and type both of those meds in to see what potential side effects exist.

Also consider taking it with meals, and someone else on the forum recommends premier protein shakes.

Lastly, when the dosage changes, dizzying effects can happen. If it continues after a week, call your doctor and let them know what experience you are going through. They will adjust if necessary.

Hope this helps you out! Best wishes on your journey 🌷
