Vyvanse or Wellbutrin causing hairloss?

Good morning. Have been experiencing hairloss for quite a while. Finally went to Derm. He said it's tellogen effluvium and most likely caused by Vyvanse and/or Wellbutrin. Anyone else experience this? Or anyone else have/had tellogen effluvium attributed to a different stimulant medication??

I've been on both Wellbutrin and Vyvanse and never experienced hair loss. So sorry it's happening to you!

Hi I experienced that with concerta, I had bald patches that went away as soon as I stopped. The psychiatrist stated that although more rare vyvanse can also have hair loss as side effect. On a side note I was diagnosed over a year ago at 41. I was working at some point with a teen who was self medicating with cannabis and was refusing to take his adhd medication. I asked him why and he told me is because he noticed that a side effect is hair loss so it seams to be a common problem. I did change to dexamphetamine and I had no concerns since, bu do speak to your doctor
