I find that I am always needing something hightly stimulating to feel normal. It's very annoying. I am often occupied with my phone, watching a movie, listening to music, playing a game, or something else. I am very drawn to things like pornography and marijuana. Most of the medications I have taken over the years has not agreed with me very well in the form of side effects or not so great results in the mind. The speedy ones dont work for me like adderall. effexor sucks badly and nothing really seems to help.

Are you only on Meds or are you working with a therapy provider as well?

Keep in mind that Adderal, Ritalin, Vyvanse, and others are not always the one and done solution we want them to be. Sometimes a combination of meds is required to stabilize you enough that you can utilize various therapy and coping techniques to reduce the problems you are experiencing.

In regards to the stimulation have you thought about using apps on your computers that block the internet completely, or just certain problem websites, applications, and games during certain times of day like when you should be doing homework, working, applying for jobs, etc.?

There are tons of them for IOS, Android, PC, Mac, Linux, heck you can even with some routers and firewalls do this as well.

Not what you're looking for?
