Hello. I have had it since about 2002. It was first diagnosed with LD. (learning disability) back in middle school and H.S. Then when I was an adult I had trouble keeping jobs and finishing school so I was retested and was diagnosed with ADHD. Finding counseling has been difficult and the right medication. I have taken so many different types of medications for ADHD that I lost track. Basically the medication would work for a short while, or not work or make me feel awful or I didn't like how it made me feel. Health insurance that I have doesn't cover enough hours for psych. in my state of Az. Unless there is something out here that I don't know about that would help with my ADHD. I'm now 48 and make the best of it day by day. I have my bad days and good days. Hopefully someday be able to find the right medication and counseling such as cognitive behavior that would help with my ADHD. So far my medication for depression and anxiety has helped. Also going to the gym and exercise. I found I need variety or I get bored easily if it's just riding a stationary bike or the treadmill. In our state of Az. during the very hot summers it can be difficult to exercise outside. I'm sensitive to too much heat even after drinking a lot of water. Any recommendations on how to deal with the daily stresses of ADHD would be helpful.
