I really would like a coach, but I can't afford to add anything to my budget at the moment. It is completely at capacity! I am a recent single mom and now that I am living life alone with my daughter (luckily she is just a toddler) I am seeing things through a different lens. I need to get my organization of my home, money, eating together and can't seem to do it by just listening to books and meds. I need someone to hold me accountable. How do I find someone going through the class that needs someone to coach to get the hours they need to get their credentials. Thank You!

ADHD Coaching
Good for you for advocating for yourself and going after what you need at this time in your life. Transitions are hard. Check out JST Coaching and Training. I believe they have a waiting list and may be able to help you.
Also look into group coaching. Group coaching is generally more cost effective for you and can be vary powerful. Good luck!
Hi
Sorry to hear you are going through rough times. I see you are making life adjustments, which is never an easy thing.
Have you been diagnosed with ADHD? If so how long ago?
Yes I was diagnosed as a child so about 28 years ago. I am 37 now. Now that I have a child I want to get things in order before she realizes her mom lives life chaotically!
I can relate in more ways than one! At the same point except my son is 6 and he already has made that assessment :/ My struggles became even more apparent when I returned to school all while trying to help him with his own struggle with ADHD. Its tough but believe we can get through it and get help to succeed past our struggles. You got this! Hang in there!
Hello Aragalvin!
The link to sign up to the volunteer client registry with this organization is at the bottom of this page. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD myself and empathize with what you are going through. I can vouch for this program as I have taken the certification myself a year and a half ago and can say with certainty that the coaches are handpicked with careful consideration and well equipped to help you. I am joining this forum to find out and understand more about adult ADHD and ways I can empower myself. For me so far it has been really helpful reading everyone's testimony. Thank you for sharing what you are experiencing Aragalvin, it is a truly brave action.
Wishing you all the best!
Hi,
Addca.com is another coaching academy.
Check them all out see which seems to be the best fit for you.
Why shouldn't we be able to hold one another accountable? I would gladly hold someone accountable if they did it for me.
I have been thinking along these lines for a while...
