Thank you very much. I feel like nobody understands me. I start trying to fit in then I end up being miserable. My boyfriend recently broke up with me because my doctor prescribed me Adderall. I had bad anxiety and side effects on the tablets but then I switched to the XR. The XR works great for me. He is totally against any pharmaceutical medication.

It’s too bad people don’t see Adderall like they see Tylenol. If you had a fever would you take it? If you had sore muscles would you take Ibuprofen? We use medicine to treat our symptoms so Adderall is no different

This is basically how I feel every single day. I've just come to accept the fact I was made to be alone. Having friends or a desire to want freedom is the biggest challenge. I'm sorry you feel that way though, everyone here seems very supportive and nice. There are tons of excellent forums here.

I'm new to , & learning , although I'm not alone , I feel alone sometimes. Outside my home I get anxiety , socially awkward. But I have faith, & a strong want for more.( I recently started Adderall to) after MANY misshaps with other meds. This one is finally showing to be a ( dare I say ) really good fit for me.

Hi! I’m also new here. Because of my ADHD I often am not good at maintaining relationships. I also don’t have many friends because my family and I have moved three times because of work. While online relationships are good, it’s better to find an ADHD group near you that may provide some support. Look on Meetup to see if there are any in your area
