I am 50, I was officially diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year by a Psychiatrist. But I realized I had it back when my now 23 year old son was diagnosed with ADD in the 4th grade. It has just became a real issue at work over the past year. So now I’m trying to do something about.

Hi I am new here too, my son who is now 11 was diagnosed a few years ago, and through trying to implement recommended strategies to help him, that I found extremely difficult to use consistently if at all, I slowly realized I'm wired the same way and was recently diagnosed. Anyway I just wanted to say goodluck with your journey and I hope things improve at work for you :)

You must be a very strong woman and have some natural skills to have made it this far. I know I was an ADD child waaaay back before anybody knew anything. I had report cards showing my inability to concentrate and stay on task. Typically A’s or F’s depending on my interest. Funny? Sort of, my oldest daughter is ADHD. In 4th grade she made all A’s but got an F in conduct!!’ Not an effective teacher.... goodluck!
