I've read in many places that ADHD symptoms need to present in two or more settings. So does that mean, if I can't focus on my school work at school and I can't focus on my school at home, I'm experiencing ADHD in 2 settings?
Or is it like, I can't finish school work at school and I misplace things at home.
How would ADHD impact your life at home?

Hi Warmheart, a lot of us have relationship problems if that helps.
For me I have trouble keeping up on cleaning stuff and following through with chores. My car is pretty groddy, to the point where I’m embarrassed to have people in it, but I somehow can’t work up the motivation to clean it out.
Hi Warmheart123123! I have the same issue. I have trouble in school focusing and sitting still, to the point I find any excuse to leave if I can. And I also have issues at home. I have a HORRIBLE time studying and motivating myself to do anything. If it requires sitting still I avoid it at all costs. As far as at home, I have trouble controlling my anger and perfectionism. I snap at everyone or get mad because things aren't getting done my way. On top of all of that I have trouble sleeping, especially if I am not in a bed or if I am without sleep meds. Its been difficult, and unfortunately I am still trying to figure out how to mend the issue.
Hello Warmheart, another way ADHD may impact home life is the person affected may not pay bills on time, forget where they placed important insurance documents, things like that. If you want to learn more about ADHD, I recommend an online subscription to the ADD magazine and newsletters. You can also go to the school's counseling center to request ADA accommodations for your ADHD.
