I'm interested in learning more about ADHA . My Granson is the most precious love of my life. He is 7 yrs old and has this. I call his "Superpowers of Special Abilities") which drive me insane. I've been reading and researching a lot. They speak of staying calm doing the moments of his Superpowers of Special Abilities performances. Sounds so easy to say. However, I have learned that this a serious disability and anyone who I'm connected to may be living with it, I'm here to learning more from this group in order for me do my best to help them live a life managing their own Superpowers of Special Abilities and maintaining my sanity in the process.

Thank you for joining us. He needs tools to help him control the symtpoms: educational/school plan (504 plan- in the US), medication ( stimulant and or non-stimulant) and some kind of therapy. Some families decide one-on-one and other do family. Please ask for him to see a Child psycharitist so they can help you.

cheers to you for being such a wonderful grandmother and working so hard to understand your grandson! If he hasn’t been to the dr get to discuss medication options, that should be the first step. Then therapy. If you’re looking for reading material definitely go with anything from Russell Barkley! He is THE expert!

OMG! Thanks. He was diagnosed with AHDH (which I've labeled has a Ungodly Spirit upon him. I'm not pursuing any forms of medical treat only Holistic Healing and Restoration. That said he has had fancy "E" something testing in school to create an plan for him. I'm so in love with Christ, I had to say it. I've been on a "Daniel " 21- day Pray & Fast praying for healing for him. Glory to God the test revealed he did NOT need a Plan. He doesn't demonstrate issues which require any major actions to be taken in school. Home another story. My daughter loses it with me. Says I coddle him. I should start another Fast & Pray season. Right? He's an only kid, very intelligent, although he's 7 going on 70, he has an 8th reading level. He's eats healthier than me. He tell me make sure I don't buy and food with RED DYE, GMO, and any other ungodly ingredients. How many 7ys old thinks of that with ADHA, He likes to create his own creations no matter what the instruction are. He was at a Paint Party instruction was given. When he started painting it was a completely different picture from the instructors. My baby's was nicer. of course. I accept it has a gift from, God blessing him with creativity. His parents feels he's intentionally being disagreeable and decides to do his own thing. My baby gets bored when he doesn't have anything interesting to do or his tech devices. I'm IT tech so I keep all devices close by. If not there's another spirit that shows up. This spirit does not display any of the Fruits of The Spirit. That's when I really have to separate from him and go Pray for my love for him , calmness, patients, wisdom, endurance to deal with whatever he is going through. He is a Amazing Kid. I truly believe GOD will continue to Prevail. Look at Gods blessing for us. I found this site, which I am Thankful of. I may not get a chance to be active posting and commenting.
