Hello! New to the Community

My son (14yrs old) was diagnosed ADHD combo type in the summer of 2022. Getting a diagnosis and starting treatment has been the best thing that has ever happened for him and us! I too received my ADHD dx shortly after he did. I have not been able to connect with any other individuals (in real life) who are going through similar journeys with late diagnosis. In the meantime I have leaned into books as companions in learning more about our neurodiversity. One particularly suggested this site for gaining a community of support. I am excited to be here and already see so many posts that are helpful and reassuring that I am definitely not alone in my journey. 😅
