Hello, I’m new to the community!!!!

I have a 10y boy that has ADHD. I have a 15 year old boy who appears to not struggle with ADHD. I’m soooooooooo (I need to add more o’s ) stressed out with trying to help him with executive functioning and forgetfulness. I was looking for a weekly support group where I could join to talk this out, get suggestions and help where I can!

10 yrs old is hard because of the hormone changes too. But it’s so nice to know that you’re not the only parent who’s frustrated and tired. We’re all trying our best to hold it together when you tell them to do one simple thing but they walk passed the legos and all is forgotten 😂 we’re here for you!

Hi Nyce, welcome to the group. I raised an adhd boy - my son who is now 29. Yes I well remember also feeling stressed out and needing support. You will find kind compassionate people on this forum with good suggestions. A good place to vent. I didn't have this forum when my boy was 10, but I joined a local CHADD chapter that met once a month, and the realization that there were other moms like me kept me from going insane. I also saw a therapist for a while which helped me a great deal.Hang in there and God bless.
