I am new here and desperately seeking advice from others with similar issues. I have a 20 year old that is still living at home, has ADHD and is very difficult to handle. He acts like I am his enemy even though I do everything for him. He is very mouthy with me and disrespectful. He takes meds, but I do not believe they are helping him. He does reckless things and I worry about him all the time. Am I in the right group? If not, can someone steer me in the right direction?

I am sorry for your difficulties. You said he was living at home. What does he do? Does he have a job? Go to school? Why is he living at home? Maybe it’s time for you to make a plan to move him out. Gradually do less and less for him. Get him to go to counseling with you. Good luck!
Can we chat?
Would love too.
