Hi,

I recently got ads for a homeopathic medication called "Brillia", that is supposed to help with hyperactivity, irritability and anxiety and for a device "goally", that helps kids track their tasks. Anybody here that tried any of these and willing to share your experiences? I am interested to try these for my 7 year old daughter with ADHD - so I would appreciate feedback from people who tried these. Thanks!!!

Read about homeopathy. It is based on dilution of the material until only its essence is only left. Decide for yourself if this makes sense and would really be effective.

Goally is a device that provides prompts and incentives (See webpage). At least it makes some sense for its use.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to write, however I did not find your reply helpful. I was not asking what these are - I know what homeopathy is and have already checked out the websites. I was only asking for feedback from somebody who has tried these. Thanks!

We tried Brillia for about a month but never saw any results. My son can't have dairy and there is Lactose in it which caused some digestive problems so it wasn't worth continuing on. They claim that there is money back guarantee but so far I haven't had any luck with contacting them to return the pills we haven't used.

We got a Goally, at first my daughter (she's 6, may have been 5 when we first got it) was very excited about it (any screen, really) but the first time it made a noise she would have nothing to do with it, even when we took away all noises and tried to emphasize that we could work together to figure out her prizes, she wouldn't have anything to do with it. We put it away for a while but she has an elephant's memory about things she doesn't like and threw a fit when we tried again. She also hates when we count and has a love/hate relationship with timers - she loves setting them, but can't think about anything else when she is doing something timed. The Goally people were great, they worked with me to try to get her on board, but she is an immovable rock. I still think it's a great idea, just not for my daughter.

Thanks for the feedback! I am also on the fence because while timers help my daughter, she still hates them... but may be I should just give it a try...
