i have a question my younger son was diagnosed with adhd about five years ago and we saw a psychiatrist yesterday and he thinks my son has a syndrome and not adhd because of inattentive and not listening in school we are going to see neurologist and my son is 13 and in 8th grade

Several people in my family have ADHD. Some have the inattentive type with no acting out. Some have the hyperactive type with lots of behavior issues. What does your psychiatrist consider ADHD?

Neurologist is the way to go. Many Peds are guessing and don’t have a thorough training.

My son was diagnosed by a neurologist. But he also has chronic migraines which was another reason for the neurologist visits...

Our son also, but they are in his stomach now. They will most likely move to his head later in life.
