Looking for Schools in DFW Area

Looking for parent recommendations in the Dallas/Frisco/Ft. Worth areas that have had success with their ADHD children in school. Was it in a public or private school in the areas listed? I feel it's an uphill battle in public schools in Texas and we are wanting a school that will assist our child in succeeding in school and gaining the love for learning and the confidence that he can do the work.

I live in Garland. My daughter went to private schools years ago. Constantly had trouble with them saying that they were not equipped to handle special needs kids. I was always bringing notes from her psychiatrist and articles I found to help them understand her problems.

Now I am raising her son who goes to public school. Even with things like IEP's and special ed counselors it is still a struggle to get help through the schools. I have to stay on top of things at the school all the time.
