Hi All. Our 9 year old son has combined type ADHD. We also have a 14 year old son. When the two of them argue, which they do often, our eldest usually ends up responding to his brother’s anger and name calling by saying “Jeez, what’s wrong with your brain? Rage much?” We have tried to explain the nature of ADHD and why his brother can’t control his reactions but I’m not sure he gets it. Does anyone know of any books geared toward neuro-typical siblings of ADHD kids? Thanks!

Books for Siblings
Wow - awesome question.
I don’t have an answer right now, but I work for the public library & will research it when I get a chance at work sometime.
Sorry for the delay:
These books are targeted at younger kids, but should be a quick read for your 14 year old. They aren't all specifically gear towards siblings, but hopefully can still be of help in understand. I will clarify, I haven't actually READ any of these books, and would advise checking them out at the library or at least reading a sample from Amazon before purchasing, to see if they fit what you are looking for.
