Dyanavel XR

Any thoughts on Dyanavel XR? My son just started and likes it very much. Anyone else out there using it?

My daughter has been on Dyanavel XR for 3 months. It has helped her tremendously in school, but we recently noticed that after school, when it's wearing off, she has been very emotional, lethargic and extremely crabby. I have a call with her doctor tomorrow to discuss the issue. Other than that, it has been great for her.

I hadn't heard of this before is this something new? The problem is I see it's a stimulant and those have caused aggression in my grandson. Would you love to see some new medication that helps without causing major side effects.

My son tried it for about 2 months and it worked for him but our insurance would no longer cover it and it was over $300 out of pocket so we had to switch him off

They offer a prescription drug card that reduces the copay to I think not more than $30.... it’s on their website

We used it for nearly 2 years. It worked well but did not control all symptoms fully (most wont). Also he had little appetite and needed meds to sleep at night. But it was not bad - until it started bothering his stomach about a month ago. We are now on focalin and so far that has been great. Good luck
