I have a 7 year old daughter who is currently taking guanfacine. Dr. had suggested her also taking Vayarin. Does anyone have good results from this or what about just taking the main ingredient, phosphatisdylserine? I thought about giving her the phosphatisdylserine because I have read good things. I'm not sure if dosage for the phosphatisdylserine alone? Thank you for your help.

Yes, my son is on Vayarin. When you first start they have to take it for 3 months before you’re supposed to notice any changes. After the first 3 months we weren’t sure it was doing anything (he was also on anxiety medicine, so we weren’t sure what was working). We decided to take him off it since it’s kinda expensive. Within 3 days of being off it, his behavior tanked. We got our pediatrician to send in a 1 month supply Rx to our local pharmacy just so we could get him back on it quickly (the mail-order takes 5-7 days). Within a couple days he was better behaved. Vayarin is basically a fish oil supplement, but I believe it’s made from krill. I don’t have any experience with just using the main ingredient, but the actual Vayarin has helped my son.
