Is our child the only one that goes through his shoe laces. I swear he must eat the plastic ends of everything ( sweatshirts drawstring, shoelaces, etc) !!!
He picks..and picks then they tear and you can't get the lace back into the darn shoe.
Drives me crazy
And you?

Lol - I haven’t experiences this. But I was about to ask if my son is the only mosquito magnet. It’s like he’s made out of bug food. Maybe it’s just his special quirk.
I bought my son a sensory shark tooth on a breakaway necklace on amazon to help with it. It seems to work pretty well and he thinks it is cool!! It is ok to put in the mouth- not ruining anything, getting talked to about not doing that again or anything. Worth a try
My son had an issue with socks, he will pull the strings out of the socks impulsively, his socks will fall around his ankle. He has moved on, now it's pencils, all of his pencils, tops are missing, he chews on it or whatever, but EVERYTIME he gets a pencil, the next day the tops are missing, he is 14. He is very figety, just about anything that will preocuupied his time, he will put it in his hands and work it.
Oh my gosh!! I thought it was only my son!! He used to chew on his shirts. Now, he takes and constantly twist the bottom, until they are nothing but rags. I told him that I was going to stop buying him American Eagle shirts if he did not stop!! Counselor said it was anxiety. I tried buying him a leather strap to twist, he will not use it, probably can not find it!! He looses EVERYTHING!!!!
