Daughter is losing weight
Good day, Airbor5,
I recommend talking to your daughter’s pediatrician about this. Kids typically don’t need protein powder. It’s important for them to eat a balanced diet to stay healthy. Here is a video you can watch chadd.org/adhd-weekly/five-... Here's an article: elisarossnutrition.com/sing... podcasts.chadd.org/e/health...
Hope these resources help! let me know if there is anything else you need.
Best,

Hello! My daughter's NP recommended Carnation Breakfast Essentials 1-2x's/day in order to help her gain weight (it's less expensive than PediaSure, has plenty of protein, and tastes just like chocolate milk). She does not have ADHD, so I recommend asking your daughter's Dr to make sure it would work for her. Best of luck!
My son drinks kids Pedaisures. They have a lot of calories.
Our pediatrician's recommendation was to make sure my son got a healthy balanced breakfast in the morning before taking his medication. He often forgets to eat at school, but is ready for a hardy dinner in the evening when the medication has worn off.
My DD is a horrible eater in general so I feel you. Carnation instant breakfast in whole milk every morning and she gets "caramel frappucinos" twice a week. Those are caramel, milk, ice and protein powder. She hasn't lost any more weight since we started. She won't drink it if she can taste it though. We've tried lots of protein powder but all useless if she won't drink it.
