My son also has sleep problems, his dr has him on .01 mg clonidine( not long lasting and I started him on meletonion with his clonidine. It helps a lot. Have you ever tried a weighted blanket for sleep, if not it may be a good option, I used it on my son when he was a little younger and it helped him sleep at night.

They are a little pricey depending on where you get the. I recommend the blankets that have glass beads. The weight of the blanket hits certain pressure points in the body that relaxing and distresses there body. They work miracles!!! It’s definitely worth it for you to try one, it was a lifesaver. He literally called me to bring it to his friends when he was sleeping over bc he knew it helped him sleep. Google weighted blankets, there should be a chart to show you, the weight of the child and how many pounds the blanket should weigh.

We tried clonidine at one time ,never did much good. We use a low dose melatonin and Valarian
