I have been reading about cbd oil what are your experiences and thoughts on giving it to a young child my son is 5? I feel so overwhelmed with all of the medication. I have been trying to research and learn about as much as I can before we go to the doctors on the 15th.

Oh I hadn't thought about that. I do want to try it for myself.

Not sure what I think about it. Definitely intriguing though because I do know that when I smoked week in the past I was actually able to focus and be productive. Don't know anyone I would trust anymore to get any. Can't wait til at least medicinal marajuana is legal here.

But I do know that phospholipids have helped me a lot! Phosphatidylcholine and phosphatydylserine. Before I found out about those, I constantly felt like I needed a month long break from my own brain. It takes a while to build up in the system especially if there is a large deficit but over time I have noticed a big improvement.

the membranes of neurons are what govern the intake and release of positively and negatively charged ions which are what create the firing and resting states. And this membrane is made up of phospholipids. So in finding articles that say they help, and comparing it to the information about neurons in my neuropsychology text book, it makes sense to me that a deficiency in these phospholipids could wreak havoc on the way the brain is able to function.

Unfortunately I have not found one that my son is willing to take because of taste. Ugh lol it sucks because I know it would help him!

I have been reading a lot about CBD oil. I have 2 kids with ADHD only 1 on Adderall (age 6), the other not medicated yet(age 10), I hate the Adderall. It calms her down but dulls the personality. And she is also angry almost all the time. I am going to try the CBD oil. I ordered some from Palmetto Harmony. A very reputable company. I am from NC and a couple of years ago a law was passed to legalize cbd oil due to a child with epilepsy and the parent used a cbd oil from some company, I can't remember which. Anyway I read an interview with the mother a couple of weeks ago and she is now using the palmetto Harmony oil and highly recommends it. The amount of research she and her doctor put into the product and the brand really gives me confidence in the brand. Its not cheap though! I have anxiety issues, so I am going to try it first. But I am also going to try it with my kids for sure. I am a big believer in medicinal marijuana benefits , and the cbd oil has no psychoactive substances (thc) I think it like .03% thc which the fda approves as basically not possible to cause someone to be high. I don't see trying cbd oil as any different from any other herbal supplement. Hopefully will get the CBD this week and start with it this weekend. I would be interested to hear from others as well.
