I’m new to this group and I was hoping for a little help. My son was diagnosed in kindergarten with ADD (inattentive type). He was evaluated in 1st grade and he did not meet eligibility for an IEP. He was placed on an EST plan with basic accommodations to address his learning disability in reading and his ADD. He is now in 2nd grade and I have requested a meeting to discuss eligibility for a 504 plan. His teacher is fantastic but I want to make sure as many protections are in place as possible. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any tips for presenting my “case”? Thank you!!!!!
