Does anyone have a child with ADHD and OCD? If so have you found a ADHD med that works and doesn’t aggravate their OCD? We have an appointment with the psychiatrist next week and I’m looking for suggestions. We’ve already tried guaffacine and Strattera.

My grandson had horrible OCD, problems with the way clothes felt/fit, changes in schedules, everything would throw him into a tizzy.
He is on Straterra for his ADHD, but Risperdone for his OCD and anxiety. He also has trouble with aggression , actually gets violent, and it is the only med that has helped with that.
We’ve already tried Strattera. It doesn’t work for him. He takes Zoloft for his OCD and that seems to be good. We tried Adderall a few years ago and it made his OCD insane! So we have tried to stick with nonstimulant meds but they don’t seem to work that well.
