Strattera?
Starting on
Strattera
and am wondering are all these medications alike. I don't believe I can handle them if they're all like this. And with the shortage of stimulant due to missuse from what I keep reading. I'll never know if there is a better option!!!! Please tell me your experiences! Thank you!

I’ve been taking atomoxetine since the beginning of 2024. I've been Slowly working my way up from one 10mg capsule/day (and now back down). At 25mg/day now. When I start taking a higher dose I like how I feel for about 2 weeks then it starts becoming less effective. I was taking 20+20 for a week but

atomoxitine cold feet and hands 🥶
I really hope it fades away because the
Strattera
is definitely helping me. By the way, I'm doing things to help keep my poor feet warm, of course. 🧦🥾🧥

First dose Strattera, blah, tired
Today was the first dose. No motivation, just tired. Is this normal? Feels like it is undermining skills I am trying to build. Adderall made me a wound up nutcase with huge anxiety. It started great, lots of energy to do the things I needed to. Then therapy made me focus on the things that made me

Any treatments when meds cause too many side effects
We’ve tried Jornay, Adderal, Concerta, intuniv and
Strattera
for ADHD and all have made her tics more frequent and noticeable. We stopped meds about 3 weeks ago and her tics have returned to being barely noticeable.

Memories
I've now been on
Strattera
for about 18 months .. I've found it works well for me, and the side effects aren’t near what I hear others discuss (especially those on stimulants).

Intro
I am on
Strattera
as well as Lexapro and Wellbutrin now. I was upset at first because I didn't want to be medicated, but now, I am thankful because I feel so much better.

Caffeine & ADHD
He upped my
Strattera
and I’m doing much better now. I still drink 1-2 Cokes per week, but that’s all I allow myself.

My Meds
With Walgreens, the
Strattera
made my stomach very upset, to the point of throwing up, if I took them on an empty stomach. I could also feel them start to work after about 30 min. as my head become clearer, and my concentration increased .

Need Small Support group for Adult Males who cannot take Rx for ADHD but are refining/building successful coping strategies
I took Ritalin first for about a month and then atomoxetine, or generic
strattera
, and they both absolutely destroyed my ability to sleep, which made everything worse. Wow... I do not wish that on anoyne.

Frequent med changes
The reason we added the
Strattera
and made the increase in stimulant is because he has been having a tough time spending more than 2 or 3 hours in the general classroom this year.

Medication
He was put on

about mid- September this year. Is there anyone whose child is using the same med ? When can I start to look for the effects to kick on? With the stimulants the effects were seen quite early but the

Anger
To start, I have to admit that I'm taking
Strattera
and it's working well for me. It's working so well my boss can also tell if I miss a dose, or if I took it too close to the beginning of the work day- scary, huh? And, the way she can tell is how I respond to others and my anger levels.

I have tried Ritalin, Adderall and
Strattera
. Ritalin gave me bad mood swings, Adderall made my heart race and increase irritation and Stattera made me super sleepy. I am very sensitive to medication and so my doctor opted to try me on this new non-stimulant.

Brain Dumping Explained
Strattera
, the med I take for my ADHD, warns us that insomnia can be a side effect of the med. However, I find that if my head is clear, I sleep better than if I try to lay down and just try to crash out. Also, by writing down the things I need to do, I don’t forget anything.
