My sons who is 10 y/o has been on Ritalin (sp?) for about 3 yrs. I have read that it has bad long term affects. Even though it does help him stay focused and not so hipper. I would really like to take him off slowly and find something natural. Any ideas that have worked for you??

My adult daughter was on Ritalin all through grade school and high school. She is now in her 30's and a bit anxiety ridden which is just her nature. But she is finally finishing her college degree. Without Ritalin she probably would have failed school.
