5 yr old about to start the diagnosis and med process. Med recommendations ?

So my step daughter has not been diagnosed with ADHD but it's so very clear that it's there. Her dad is not really on board with medication for her. He's against meds... Well he works 2p to 1030p so I pick all the girls up and do all the communication with the teachers. Her teacher has sent home multiple notes about her behavior she climbs over tops of tables does flips and just will not listen whatsoever. Im at a loss. Today the teacher informed me she wants to talk to him herself. I am praying this helps. She doesn't listen to well at home is very needy and gets so upset over minor thibgs. It truly makes it hard for me to care for her and get closer to her BC I'm constantly saying stop don't do that sit down.... And it's just causing a major problem at home. The other kids get into trouble BC of things she will do or will not stop doing. So I'm going to start pressing the issue getting her diagnosed and on some meds bc it's not fair to her or anyone else for that matter. She's 5 years and 6mobths old and a smaller child. What meds have y'all found to help and not make them a zombie? Recommendations are highly appreciated. Thanks y'all and btw iam Brandi mom to 3 girls plus a bonus girl. My 11 almost 12 yr has ADHD but just the attention part I've never dealt with overly hyper kind. All girls are 11 9 6 and 5. Thanks y'all
