My ADHD/ODD son pushes my buttons like no other. When we are home I can remove myself from the situation or if he's physically out of control I give him "tummy time outs" as recommended by his therapist. Where I struggle and lose my temper and yell/punish him is in situations when we're late and I can not get him out the door or when he's acting out in a public place. Any advice on handling these situations calmly so I don't feel like the worst mom ever and damage my relationship with my son?

Talk to his regular doctor. If this is due to ADHD, you may need to explore the range of treatment options.
