I did a 6 km walk this morning as it was a a lovely sunny morning, Quite a struggle but took time, went to local train station , then along the riverside which wasnβt muddy, plenty of tourists and dog walkers about which is good for the town , . A few places open for to get a meal and drink coffee. Quite cool now so donβt think will be sitting outside in sun.
Enjoy the rest of your Easter and your chocolate eggs. π£

Happy Easter to you Doris8, that was a lovely 8K walk for you to start Easter Day on a lovely spring sunny morning, so you went to the local train station, not for a trip anywhere but just walked past it then along the riverside which was mud free.
So you'll want to know what I did this morning, after my 3K run yesterday this morning I went a 11K walk, partly on quite roads and off road on where I run, lovely weather, I saw 7 cyclists but only 3 runners and about 10 walkers walking their dogs, part of the walk was around the loch I run round, I saw several swans and π¦ ducks, I was walking at around 11 minutes a kilometer, I began at around 8.30 and got back home about 10.25, so it wasn't a power walk, just a steady reasonable pace, enjoy the rest of Easter.
Happy Easter!!! No walk for me yesterday, but I did manage to get a weights session in for my arms! Theyβre feeling it!
We also got all our garden furniture out, cleaned our outdoor pizza oven, had some friends and their kids (young adults⦠sorry!) over, searched for Easter eggs and spent the whole afternoon outside having a make-your-own-pizza party, which was great fun!
The weather held up down here, not too hot so that the hidden chocolate eggs wouldnβt melt, and not too cold so we could sit outside.
Hope your back is getting stronger and stronger (and less and less painful), Iβm currently monitoring my wobbly legs and wonder if Iβm not having enough protein with my meals.
