Is anyone else finding that the Active 10 app burns through their phone battery?

I confess, I haven't tried the Active 10 ap yet, but I have used other tracking programs and have noticed they do deplete the battery. In Canada we also have the subzero weather if you're walking outside which tends to sap battery life in no time.

Brightness of the screen also saps a lot of power, batteries don't like cold so maybe charge up after each use..

I found that turning off location for the app and turning it on just before a longer walk helped to conserve my battery as well.
