For addressing a "disturbance" in one's body, the key is to achieve balance. This means being in harmony with your own rhythms and needs. Diet, exercise, herbs, vitamins, minerals, mental discipline, sleep, beliefs, music and life-style habits are things that can help.
Some books that offer healing/balance suggestions that I have read, and value are:
Your Blood Never Lies, by James Lavelle RPh. CCN (This helps decipher what your blood tests mean in layman's terms).
How to Starve Cancer. by Jane Mclelland
Foundations for Healing, by DR Richard Becker, DO
Beating cancer with Nutrition, by Patrick Quillin, PhD, RD, CNS
The Fungus Link, volumes 1, 2, 3 by David Holland Md and Doug Kaufmann
MY FAVORITE IS The truth About Cancer by Ty Bollinger
Also, his book called The quest for the cures, complete 11 episodes with transcripts of patients.

Why am I not surprised that your favorite is The truth About Cancer by Ty Bollinger: Bollinger has zero medical or nutrition training. He is associated with numerous conspiracy theories about everything from health to election politics. He and his wife appear to push any misinformation to sell their trinkets, books, Youtube video views, and useless cures. He has been debunked by several legitimate medical practitioners and researchers. sciencebasedmedicine.org/th...
Beating cancer with Nutrition, by Patrick Quillin is on Quackwatch's non-recommended read list. quackwatch.org/about/altseek/
How to Starve Cancer. by Jane Mclelland - SBM does a pretty good debunking (indirectly) of McLelland and her many dubious health treatment suggestions. sciencebasedmedicine.org/te...
Do you actually research authors before you recommend their books?
Ouch. 😞 Like many people I have a hurt and sadness in my life that others don't know about. One thing is dealing with my Husbands stage 4 Prostate Cancer.
I don't believe you hurt my feelings out of conscious malice. The people in here are on my mind and heart and I just try to offer some encouragement.
May The Force be With You ---------George W Lucas Jr. . Star Wars.
I’m not trying to hurt your feelings, and I also don’t believe they’re hurt anyways. You often try to play the victim card when others point out the bad information you post.
That said, as a man dying from Stage 4B prostate cancer, it hurts my feelings when I see people promote books and other products that are clearly designed to enrich the author’s bank account with totally false or irrelevant information while depleting the funds of men with a fatal disease.
We’re dying and vultures or fools are throwing BS at those who are desperate enough to fall for it.
Ty Bollinger and his ilk are clearly predators who don’t care at all about anything but their bank account growing.
I encourage you to vet authors before reading their books or recommending them. Don’t feed the frauds, schucksters, and quacks…
