Hearing loss and first hearing aid in 2018 following an ear infection and a perforated ear drum in 2014. I had a re assessment in 2022 where it was determined that my hearing loss had become severe in the left ear. I now have tinnitus, headaches, loss of balance and dizziness on occasion and a general feeling of a fuzzy head. Had my first and hopefully last migraine just before Christmas, sharp stabbing pains behind left eye. Daily headaches now. I have a head and inner ear MRI booked in for 11th December 22 Obviously I don't want there to be anything but also want answers.
Still waiting for an ENT and CT appointment.
Hope everyone is doing ok x

The wait is horrid and you really have had a horrible time of it with your hearing, tinnitus, and all the things that having inner ear problems brings. That’s certainly a lot to deal with and maybe not surprising you’ve been having headaches and now a migraine, as everything gets a bit off kilter when you’re managing what you are. Although many of us with acoustic neuromas may suffer headaches and migraines these tend to be connected far more to the stress attached to having other issues to contend with than the thing itself… and all the horrible things you’re trying to deal with sounds very much connected to having inner ear issues rather than a little unwanted guest further in. I hope very much ENT can help you and you’ll soon have your mind put at rest with the results from the scan being clear of anything extra! Breathe and focus on really looking after your well-being and nurturing yourself, that bit is the thing you can do throughout this scanxiety time 💐 Let us know how you get on
Thank you for your reply flappers. Yes stress is very much apart of my life and this on top I do struggle at times. Hopefully I will get some news soon. X
