Just wondering. I had my left hearing nerve and balance nerve cut during AN surgery, so have had balance issues (like walking on a boat) since while the right nerve tries to compensates. However, yesterday when I got up from laying down...happened twice...I had to hold onto something before fell. It totally lost the ability to Be upright. The second one took me a few minutes to stand upright and the rest of the night I had to mainly walk holding onto the walls for balance (this happened pre surgery, but don’t know what’s causing it now) . My head now feels full and my balance hasn’t gone back to my new ‘norm’
Any ideas community friends?
Thanks xoxoxo

That’s awful, so sorry you’re experiencing these symptoms still after surgery! I’d Definitely get onto your GP and push to be referred to the right people for extra checks. Also do you have any exercises you could be doing gradually that physio gave you? Wishing you all the best Xx
Tiredness definitely will affect your balance, take it easy and be careful!
I've had my AN for 40 years nowWas told its a dangerous operation like cutting wrong nerve. Have gone to hell and back many times. I use a drug called SERC it tends to help. What can make me worse is alcohol so now I don't have any at all. I also often feel my vertigo cud be simple ear wax so I put in olive oil, that seems to work or cud be psychological. This isn't helping u...but sometimes the obvious we dismiss..try hot water bottle on side of head. I am presently going thru a BSD time but know in a few days I am semi OK again with usual tinitus and headaches..My wife can put up with as these bouts do put great stress on you and ur lived ones..Gud luck.
