Hi I have been diagnosed with a sizable AN , I see a consultant in a couple of weeks, does anyone have any experience or knowledge about diving with an AN? As a keen Sports diver I would like to carry on without risking my health.

I can only remember being told NOT to go underwater as I could become very disorientated but that was many years ago now. I think you need to ask the medics. Good luck
Well I had my AN treated by Radiosurgery (FSR) 20 years ago and had never been scuba diving before that. However since then I have made 5 x 30 minute dives on The Great Barrier Reef.Obviously as a beginner I was supervised and accompanied at all times but I don't think I have any more difficulty than I would have had before my AN. Unless a real expert advises against it I would carry on (but perhaps make sure your buddies keep an even closer eye on you than usual!)
