Sorry to hear your news main thing is to stay calm. Once you have had your appointment you will have all the information you need to help you through the next steps. Good luck with the appointment - let us know how you get on.
Hi Jim, the good news is that there is no need to panic. There are a range of treatments and indeed you may never need treatment. Take a look at this web-site for good patient centric information anworld.com/ If nothing else it will enable you to ask your consultant meaningful questions and give you a better chance of understanding the answers. Good luck, Chris
Hi Jim
I have also recently been diagnosed with AN.
I found BANA very, very helpful - see bana-uk.com. British Acoustic Neuroma Association is a charity set up here in the UK. Since I joined, I have spoken to several people at BANA, they have all been very supportive, informative and kind.
Take care, all best wishes
