TUMOUR GROWING AGAIN

HI I AM NEW TO HEALTH UNLOCKED.I HAD SURGERY FOR AN IN 2010 AND A BIT OF TUMOUR WAS LEFT IN.THIS STARTED GROWING AND I HAD RADIOTHERAPY IN 2015.I HAVE JUST HAD RESULTS OF MY ANNUAL SCAN AND IT HAS STARTED GROWING AGAIN.I AM WONDERING WHAT OPTIONS ARE LEFT.STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM MY CONSULTANT.

It all depends where it is, how fast growing etc. Every case is individual but I know someone who had exactly the same and then had to have surgery

Hello there. I`m in a similar situation. I had LINAC radiosurgery in 2011 and surgery 2014. Some tumour was left behind and it is growing again, slowly I hope! I`ve been told more surgery is the only option but they don`t want to operate till they really have to. I`m on watch and wait again and have regular MRIs. Good luck.

Thanks for replying.I expected surgery to be the only option now.Am still waiting for my consultant to get in touch with more details.
