I'm very depressed and the thought off killing myself makes me happy, it's the thought of leaving my girlfriend and family behind... my mum died when I was 11 I'm now 18 and it's taking nits till more everyday I miss her more and every day I'm getting worse , I can't cope and I just wanted advice on how other people cope?

Your family and those who love you take priority - you'd crush them if you ever decided to end your life and they would bear that burden for the rest of their lives. I myself have suffered severe depression and it recurs from time to time though with being older now I know how to deal with it better but there are no easy cures. It is indeed an ordeal of pain and suffering. There are 2 pieces of advice I have for you:
-go and see your doctor, you can get medication that helps a lot - I've been on it for 11 years
-take just one day at a time, all you have to do is get through to the end of the current day
