I had a blister/something form above a tooth. If I popped it it felt better. I told my dentist and she said I likely needed a root canal. It’s the body’s way of fighting the abscess. In fact X-rays showed I needed one. All good now.

Salt water is the best treatment.

A blood clot forming on a tooth after dental work, like an extraction, is vital for healing. It protects the wound, prevents excessive bleeding, and supports tissue regeneration. Disrupting the clot can lead to a assistive & rehabilitative services painful condition called dry socket. Following aftercare instructions, like avoiding straws and smoking, ensures the clot remains intact, promoting proper recovery and preventing complications.
