feeling anxious

last year I had blood in the urine ++ on dipstick , MSU sent and was negative. Now I’m having frequency of 11-12 times a day - when GP last week wanted a sample - dipstick showed blood again . She has referred me now under the 2WW , I had a telephone call yesterday from the Urology McMillan nurse who is arranging an urgent CT scan of the kidney with contrast - the ct scanning department called me an hour after my appointment to tell me I have this tomorrow afternoon at 3.15 . The anxiety I feel is quite intense because of the urgent appointments and the quick prompt response, unsure what to think and feel

It was a natural reaction to feel intensely anxious…please let us know the outcome of the scan.

Just to put your mind at rest I have suffered like you for over 35 years with the blood in my water but shows no infection when sent to the lab. I dont know your age but it can also be loss of Estrogen in the vagina due to lack of hormones. There is a group called Embedded Chronic UTI Support group many women are suffering with this you will find valuable information and what treatments and medications are available. Please let us know how you get on with your hospital appointment. X
