Hi Edmonton81,

When I had abnormal cells and was hpv positive I was referred to a doctor to get the cells lasered off. When this doctor examined me he informed me I had mild to moderate abnormal cells and needed a treatment. After the laser treatment, he advised me to take a multivitamin and a green tea capsule daily to help my body to clear the hpv infection. I was examined some months later and I no longer had abnormal cells and no hpv was detected. Good luck.

I am in a similar situation. They do explain it and it’s good to do some reading for yourself. HPV can lay dormant in your body for years. It is contracted through sexual activity but it is not classed as an ‘STI’. It does not mean your partner has been unfaithful. I got the Holland and Barrett Superone and a green tea extract also from Holland and Barrett.

sorry I forgot to ask did the vitamins and tea help you get rid of the virus

Yes. That’s what the doctor recommended to help my body clear the virus. Your body generally clears HPV itself. The multivitamin and green tea were recommended just to help the process along. My smears the previous years had been clear but this one came back abnormal. I had no symptoms of the virus. I never had coldsores or anything like that. It’s just one of these common things that are usually harmless once monitored by having our smears. They are so important. :)

Hey, HPV is super common. It's so common that almost everyone who is sexually active will contract HPV at some point. Men are not tested for HPV, so if your husband got HPV from a previous partner he would never know. Make sure to follow-up with your doctor so they can monitor it and explain your results.

Thank you,

I’ve done some research and it’s says the same, but me and my partner have been together for 18 years married too. We have never had other partners so how did or coukd I contract it? Trying to look for answers?

hi hun

So today I bought the multivitamin and tea extract that you advised, did you take them together or did you alternate it daily. They say if you take too much vitamins it’s not good so what was you advised. I read the tea extract is good for cells and cancer so I’m gonna stick to that xx
